Seasoned pharma and biopharma executive joins Azurbio Inc. to lead business development efforts targeting US biotechs seeking European expansion
AzurBio, a fast-growing European organization dedicated to helping Biotech companies expand into and across Europe, today announced the appointment of Philippe Teboul as Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), based in San Diego, California.
Philippe will lead AzurBio’s business development strategy in the United States, with a focus on US-based biotechs looking to establish or strengthen their commercial capabilities in Europe. He will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities with strategic partners, and representing AzurBio across the American biotech ecosystem.

Philippe brings over two decades of experience across the international pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry. A Medical Doctor and holder of an MBA from IMD Lausanne, he has held senior leadership positions at Pfizer, Janssen, Otsuka, Bristol Myers Squibb, Agios and Deciphera, developing a unique combination of scientific expertise, operational leadership, and commercial acumen across global markets.
